CavtatCavtat is a popular tourist destination in the Konavle region. It has 7km of beautiful shallow coastline and is filled with amenities, hotels, restaurants and cafes. The tour ends in a local drinking house where you can enjoy some of the region’s best local dishes. Walking and HikingWhat better way to discover the coastal landscape of Konavle than by foot. The most popular walking trail is the 8km Cavtat-Mocici-Cilipi route. It takes you not only through lush Croatian coastal landscape, but also past historic churches, stone crosses used to bless fields and into bathing areas along the Konavle cliffs. This trail is suitable for recreational walkers. The 'Ronald Brown' walking trail and 'Konavle Cliffs' educational trail are other hiking options in the area. CyclingThere are many well marked bicycle trails available for you to choose from while on a cycling holiday in Konavle, and rental bikes are available in most tourist villages in the area. There are routes available for those after a leisurely ride, or more intense routes for biking enthusiasts willing to work up a sweat. Most routes begin in either Cavtat or Cilipi, and end in the small villages of Miljasi or Pridvorje. They vary in length from 9.5km to 26km. Activities on the WaterThe clear waters of the Konavle region naturally invite you to get closer to the water. There are numerous activities for the whole family whilst holidaying in the Konavle region of Croatia.
